Dan turned the big 40 and we celebrated Cowboy style with a big feast! We had pulled pork sandwiches, coleslaw, mac and cheese, and watermelon. The birthday cake was peach cobbler! We invited lots of friends and family and after dinner we played Texas Hold'em.

I'm am a bit behind! l0l! Here are the the first day of School pics. Dani is loving third grade. She's soaking everything in like a sponge and doing very well. She has a fabulous teacher, Miss Paul who has already called to tell us how much she loves and appreciates Dani. Makes mommy and daddy very proud. She is off to a great start.

Brock started full day kindergarten and LOVES it. He loves his teacher and all his friends in his class. (the entire class was invited to his b-day party...post coming later) He is learning tons everyday and also got high praises at parent teacher conference. His teacher, Mrs. VanStrahl is the best around and we are so lucky he has the opportunity to have her this year.

I am so blessed to have kids who love to learn and love to get up in the morning to go to school. It's has been and is going to be a good year!

Star Valley Weekend

Summer went by in a flash... In August we always make a trip to the Lincoln County Fair in Star Valley. It was a quick trip but so worth it. As you can see the cousin play was non stop all weekend. My favorite was on Sunday they made up a skit for us. It was titled "The Modern Day Good Samaritan" and Brock was the gangster that saved the day! :) We also went on rides at the fair... even mommy went on one. It goes to show I will do a lot for my kids! We also saw a Rodeo. Thanks Grandpa Tueller for getting us the tickets.

It's Great to Be Eight!

Eight years ago I became a mother to an amazing little girl! This whole month of June I've thought about how it was when I FIRST brought her home, got up to feed her in the middle of the night, gave her bath in the kitchen sink and snuggled up with her on the couch for an afternoon nap. How the time flies! I am so blessed to be her mom. I am also so blessed that she decided to be baptized. What a experience it was to have that special feeling in our home that Saturday. The baptism was wonderful. Dani got to hear talks from her Grandmas, hear her Daddy sing a song and also listen to testimonies of the truthfulness of the Gospel. After the baptism was over we met at our house for a BBQ. We served Dani's favorite Ribs and got to enjoy visiting with everyone. It was a success! All I can say is, blessings are abundant in my life. My sweet children, my loving husband, my fabulous family and all my wonderful friends!

Dani you make mommy so happy! I can't imagine live without you! Happy Birthday and isn't great to be eight?

Easter Festivities 2010

After every holiday I always ask myself, "Did we make good memories for the kids?". As you can see by the photos I think we did. I love Easter time!

We celebrated first with coloring Easter Eggs. This is serious business in our home...with two designers in the house what would you expect. :)

We then had the Easter Bunny visit leaving lots of treats and a garage and car for the Zue Zue Pets. (FYI Zue Zue Pets will be the closets thing to a rodent ever becoming a pet in our house!)

We also watched General Conference and felt the Spirit in our home. We then had a wounderful family dinner at Aunt Jenny's house ending with a Easter egg hunt the kids loved.

Growing up it was always a fun tradition to for me to get a new Easter Dress for Sunday. I have continued that tradition with my own family. I loved how the outfits turned out this year. Both Dani and Mia look so cute in pink. Brock who hates wearing tight things around his neck looked so handsome in his new blue shirt and tie. Life is good! ...and here's too making more great family memories!

What it's not December still?

I thought I better get the December happenings on the blog before Easter is here. :) I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. I feel so blessed to have the family I have and to be able to have the moments I do with them. December went by so fast. Don't you think? We had a beautiful Christmas. One I hope we will remember. Life is good! Time to break out the sugar cookies again for Valentines day! They were good...just ask Santa!

And The Winner Is?...Cancun 09

Some of you may know, Dan enjoys listening to Rush on the KNRS "family values" radio station every once in a while....OK everyday! Well his conservative talk show habit won us a free trip to Cancun. An all inclusion vacation to the Ocean Maya Resort. Ya I didn't believe it either until we were laying on the beach that first day in Mexico.

We renewed our passports. Flew in my Mom to stay with the kids. Packed our bags and off we went. We had a fabulous time sleeping in, relaxing in the sun, walking on the beach, and eating chips and fresh guacamole until we were stuffed. It was so nice to have time together with no kid interruptions. We actually made it through a meal with out a spilled drink but by the end of the 5 days we were very homesick for our babies.

It seems crazy that nine years ago in May that we were in Cancun for our Honeymoon. How time flies when you're having fun raising a family! What a wonderful trip I got to go on with my sweetheart, the five days in December of 2009 as well as the nine years being married to him.

The trip was and is a success.

We did better this year...we did send out some Christmas cards but to those who we didn't get to lick a stamp for we are truly sorry. I hope this makes up for it! You won't be able to tape it to your fridge, save it in a box until next year or cut it up to make a gift tag...but you can come back to the blog anytime you want to take a look our 2009 Christmas Card! Dan and I feel very blessed to be parents to these three beautiful children (if I do say so myself).

Brock Turns 5!

Here it is the middle of December...I better get with it! My boy turned 5 over a month ago and I'm just now getting around to blog about it. OK here is the the play by play. First you must know Dan and I were taking some pictures for a work project and accidentally reformatted the memory card in our camera with Brock's birthday photos on it. I was SOOOO sad! What is a mother to do when she has no photos of that special day. Well I'm going to document it here! We started the day with taking treats to his preschool class. We bagged up some candy, a pencil and stickers for each kid. Brock handed them out along with a capri sun to drink. After school it was home to hear "When do we leave for my pirate party mom?" 150,000 times! We took Brock, Christian, Janice, Rees, Abby, Dani, Mia, Aunt Ashlee, Aunt Jenny, Uncle Seth, Uncle Steve, Melissa, Elle, Cassie and Jordan to Pirate Island Pizza. (so sad that the Barkers were home sick with the flu and couldn't make it.) We reserved the special underwater mermaid room. We ate Pizza and played games and more games. Each kid was given a pirate hat and eye patch along with a loot bag filled with candy. After the pizza and games, we opened gifts and ate chocolate cupcakes that I had made. (I made a version of the photo above.) I asked Brock what he liked the most about his special day and he said "all the tickets I got for the games! and the cake!" My baby boy is growing up too fast! He is so lovable and still loves to snuggle with his mommy...I hope that lasts forever. Hope you had a great Birthday Brocky! We love you!

Mia turned two last Saturday. Can you believe my baby is two already! We love this little girl. There is not a day goes by that she doesn't make us laugh. She is a cuddly, fun loving, very smart toddler. She learns new words everyday. Today she has almost mastered "popsicle". She loves to keep Mom and Dad on their toes. She is not a big fan of clothes as we found that out in the middle of church when she stripped down to just her diaper. Dan quickly picked her up and took her to the hallway and tried to convince her to put her dress back on with out her having a terrible two melt down. She decided that would be ok to put the dress back on but the shoes were out of the question.

We celebrated Mia's big day cowgirl style. We invited family and friends over for bbq ribs and chicken and a little rodeo. I decided to make cute homemade crafty stick horse for all the little party guests. I made 20 of them! I was up pretty late on a couple of occasions but it was well worth it. The kids loved them. Dan came up with special names for all 20 with a little bio about each horse. The kids were presented with an adoption certificate with these names and cute stories on them. Dan is so creative...we had horses named Willow, Stardust, Buck, Rocky and Twilight...just to name a few. We finished off the night with a sheriff badge shaped cake and lots of ice-cream. (Thanks Frys for the yummy ice-cream!)

On our vacation in Oregon we went to the Zoo in Portland. The kids had a fabulous time. One of their favorite parts was the petting zoo. Mia really bonded with the goats. I thought she would be afraid. I was afraid! The train ride was a lot of fun too. We say lots of animals and finished the day off with dippin dots. Yum!

Home Sweet Home

The kids and I packed up our suitcases and went to Oregon for a week. Daddy stayed home to work. We missed him terribly! We had fun spending time with Grandpa, Grandma, Cate, Justin, Addie and the cows. The kids would go to the barn everyday with grandpa to help him feed the cows. Brock would yell right after Grandpa would "come cavee" The cows were a little afraid of the kids at first but by the end of the week Mia would end up in the manger with the grain and hay right next to the cow's nose. Dani and Brock also learned how to drive the Mule (the Kawaasaki kind not the four legged kind). Both were pretty good at it except sometimes we would have to remind them to keep their eyes on the road. We had so much fun and made some great memories! More to come...we also took a trip to the Oregon Zoo.

We are now in June blog followers! Dani celebrated her 7th birthday movie "star" style. We first spent the afternoon at the movies with friends. We went to see "Up" in 3D. We all loved the show. Then we ended the evening with a family BBQ. Dani requested meet on a stick..aka ribs. I made the two layer star cake which turned out great and we had lot's of ice cream to go with it... YUMMY! Dani also got an ipod for her gift from mommy and daddy. She is in love! Hope you had a great Birthday Dani. We love you so much!

Brock's Preschool Graduation

Brock attended a neighborhood preschool this year and loved every minute of it. He chased after leprechauns, marched in a band, floated tinfoil boats, and made some great friends. His teacher volunteered her time. Thanks Cari...you're the best!

Dani's 1st Grade Program

At the end of the school year Dani performed in a musical program. She is our little star! She did very well in first grade. She is a super reader and is awesome in math. Thanks Grandpa Wilcken for passing down the math genes. Second grade here we come!

Tooth Fairy to the Tueller House Please!

Dani woke up one morning really complaining about her back tooth hurting. I thought to myself...oh great she has a cavity, but I buy her lots of Hannah Montana and High School Musical toothpaste and tooth brushes. Why is this tooth hurting? I take her to the dentist that same morning...no cavities! The dentist discovered that some of her bigger permanent molars were coming in top of the wrong baby molars and absorbing the roots. It can be painful...so we decided to have the big fat baby molars pulled out. Dani was a real trooper! Just look at those babies. Needless to say the tooth fairy left her a five dollar bill under her pillow that night. (I know that is a lot of money when most of us only got a quarter/tooth..inflation right.) or I think some how the tooth fairy knew what Dani went through to get those suckers to come out. FYI The tooth she just lost and is STILL lost while eating a bagel only received a dollar.

Benny's Hockey B-day!

The kids loved this party! Their cousin Benny turned three and to celebrate they played some gym hockey. They even had team shirts to wear with their names on the back. Brock didn't take his off for three days. Thanks uncle Brad for making them for us! And happy birthday Ben!

Cousin Annabel

I think we were nine when Annabel and I became pen pals. Her Grandmother was visiting our family in Oregon and she mentioned she had a granddaughter in England that was my age and that we should write to each other. There were lots of letters, Birthday and Christmas cards sent over the years. Now remember back then there was no email, no facebook just old fashion stationary. She lived many many miles away in England but that didn't stop us from becoming fast friends. We did get to meet face to face in '97 when I was on a family vacation in London. I think it was dinner at Pizza Hut. Now in 2009 this April we had an opportunity to spend a week together. I loved it! We took her to BYU campus, to Temple Square, to Sundance, to Thanksgiving Point and to Park City. A very full and busy week! Annabel and I are not just pen pals, we're family! Thank you Annabel for the most wonderful week. I love you!

I'm a bad bad blogger I know...It's been too long since I've posted. I needed to get these photos up quick before a another holiday had come and gone. My kiddies are growing up! Dani is about done with first grade and tells me she wants to be a fashion model when she grows up. Brock is so big and is going to be really tall in no time at all. Mia is such a sweetie as long as you don't get in her space and then she will scratch your eyes out... remember she has a big brother, she has to defend herself some how. I love being their mom. They make me smile everyday!

To all our friends and family,

We had hoped to send Christmas greetings your way with a one of a kind special "stacy&dan" designed card but for reasons too many to list here the cards didn't make it in the mail...they didn't even make it to the drawing board. When I realized the cards were just not going to happen I promised myself I would send all of you our love and well wishes for a Happy New Year "blog" style.

As you can see from the photos The Tueller Troop had a wonderful Christmas. We celebrated Star Valley style and had a blast. Thank you Santa for bringing us so many gifts.

Dan is working for Focus, has been for a year now and is doing well. He designs mostly web sites and is really good at we he does.

Dani is whizzing through the first grade and is a social butterfly. She plans after school gatherings with her friends including tea parties, cookies and crafts.

Brock is such a character. We asked him why he was so cute and his reply was "cause I'm made out of playdoh". There isn't a moment he sits still. Drives mommy crazy!

Mia is our little sweetie. She's walking now and loves to help mommy reorganize every drawer and cupboard in the house.

and now me...Stacy is busy with perfecting her mothering skills. I think it will take an eternity. When all her chores are done (ya right) and the kids are tucked in bed she loves to work on freelance projects and browse the Internet. She's loving the facebook craze.

When Daddy Works Late

Dan has been putting in some late hours working so the kids and I cuddle up in bed with a favorite Christmas movie and here is how it ends. Christmas 2008 is fast approaching and I went Christmas shopping today! Dani was at school and Brock was at a friends house so Mia and I took the opportunity to venture into some stores and really get into the Christmas spirit. It was so much fun and I got so much done. I've made my list and am checking it twice. So you all better be good!

The First Snowfall

Before the sleep was wiped from our eyes and as soon as Brock could find his snow boots he was outside playing in the first snow fall of the season. Maybe it's the Star Valley blood in him. And yes, he still has the fireman jammies on that he got for his birthday. Thank you aunt Krista for making those for him. They are a big hit! Brock was also very proud of the boot prints he could make in the snow. So proud that I found a frozen boot print clump of snow in our freezer tonight. How long should I hold on to that? I love that Brock!

Can we Party? Yes we Can! Brock turns 4, Bob the Builder Style. We had a very successful party. Lots of fun as you can see. We ate baked potatoes with either cement, sheet rock mud, gravel, wood shavings or glue on top (hamburger gravy, sour cream, chili, shredded cheese, or cheese sauce) We played games like find Bob's cell phone, Foreman says and toss the rock into the dump truck. We had lots of cake that mommy and daddy made. I think it turned out fabulous! Brock got lots of fun gifts like a remote control hummer, new bob the builder movie, firetruck jammies (that he does not want to take off. He has been wearing them for two days straight) and a mickey mouse fishing game that mommy and Brock has been playing a lot.

Brock is such a doll. We are so blessed to have him in our little family and we love him so very much. Happy Birthday Brocky!

Superman, Superwomen & A Bubblebee

We had a very fun and busy Halloween. We started at Dani's first grade class party at 1:00 pm. (I'm the room mom for dani's class this year and that makes me the party planner for all the holidays.) We danced, played games, and ate food. We then went to the church for the carnival and trunk or treat at 4:00pm. The kids had a blast. We then finished off the evening with treat or treating with cousins. Whew...mommy and daddy were tired!

Over the River and Through the Woods

The kids and I spent a fabulous week in Oregon making great family memories. It involved riding the mule, feeding the cows and chickens, wearing rubber boots, swinging in a tree swing, making apple cider and even a walk down memory lane for mommy who got to see a Colton high school football game.

Dani and Brock would go with Grandpa to the barn to feed the cows. Grandpa even let them "drive the mule" I guess Brock almost hit a couple of Christmas trees. Thank you grandpa and grandma for making our week so fun. We miss you and love you!

Mia's 1st Party

Rewind...Labor Day Weekend 08

The pictures speak for themselves! Star Valley is so beautiful! We had missed Star Valley and were so happy to visit again. The kids had a great time with the cousins, and loved being with Grandpa and Grandma Tueller who they had not seen in 18 months. (Grandma and Grandpa just returned from a mission in Nauvoo.) We had a hot dog roast up the canyon and then hiked to the intermittent spring. We were very tired and thirsty after our long hike. I must say I have such a cute little family and I love them so much. Christmas is just around the corner and word on the street is that Santa is making a stop in Star Valley this year for the Tueller family. Better get those snow suits out!

Working Mommy

You're probably all thinking..."Stacy must not love her blog anymore. It's been almost two months since she has posted any news." Well part of the reason life has torn her way from blog land is I took on a freelance project to do all the design work for Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving Point, along with the Scream Asylum in Provo. All billboards, posters, tickets, ads, you name it I did it. Now that it has come to an end. I can return to my posting responsibilities. Check back daily I have two months to get caught up on and I think I might have to post multiple times a day to get it all in. Power Posting here I come. These pictures are of one morning after Dani has left for school, my two assistants help me check email. I love that I get to be home with my kids. And when times need that I work a little I can still be at home.

If you ever wonder what it's like to shop with three kids in tow...here ya go. Walmart sees a lot of the Tueller grocery budget every month. Three growing kids with healthy appetites make this store the wisest one stop shop. You wonder why the shelves look bare in the back ground. No it's not that we have bought the store out. It is that our favorite store is remodeling. After we visit the toy department though it is time to get down to business and get the groceries. After finding what's on our list and telling the kids that can't have everything they want. I make my way to the check out and then out to the car to load up...I'm sweating. It's a lot of work!

Dani's First of First

Dani now is a big first grader as of today. After completing her check list last night of shower (check), jammies (check), pick out outfit (check), make lunch (check) she ventured to bed with I'm sure a bit of anxiousness. Now if you know Dani you know she likes her sleep and is never out of bed very early. This morning was different. She popped right out of bed to come running to daddy to say get up, you need to take me to school to day! Here she is at the door with her Hannah gear (backpack, lunch box and shoes). Can't wait for the report on how the first day went.

Ode to Ashlee

Bear Lake 08

The August 2008 family reunion was filled with lots of fun and great memory making moments. We spent time all together which was my favorite part. I had never been to Bear Lake before and I can say I'll be back. It was a beautiful place to vacation. All five girls together...that doesn't happen very often. The grandkids are so cute together...most of the time... but hey who doesn't get cranky when you're overly tired and hungry. I'm so grateful to be apart of such a great family. Let's keep working towards that goal....a forever family!

Swimming Lessons

Dani and Brock loved their swimming lessons this summer. Both are doing so well and we think they are part fish. Brock has no fear and will jump right in and swim under water back to the edge only to do it again 50 million more times. Where does he get his energy? And Dani was a little scared at first of the deep end but has worked through her freak out and loves showing off her Elementary Back Stroke or as she would say her monkey, airplane, rocket. The swimming lessons will continue until they are on their way to the Olympics.

More Dirt

There was so much dirt on this kid I thought he deserved his own post. When we finally got home after the big day of play at sliver lake....Brock was sound asleep in the car. No way was I going to put this kid to bed this dirty so I ran the bath water. I didn't think it was possible for a three year old to sleep during a bath. He must of been so tired...I had to rinse the water out twice before I got the sleeping boy all clean.

Silver Lake

Here is the scoop on our day trip to Silver Lake up the American Fork Canyon. We survived the steep switch back road. Had a wonderful time wading and canoeing in the lake. Ate yummy chicken and veggie tinfoil dinners. Scarfed down dutch oven chocolate fudge berry cake. (My own recipe I made up.) And then Brock's favorite thing...got dirty! Can you see the layers of dirt on that kid? We were so excited to share the time with our family who had just flown in from Spain. Melissa Leo and Charlie still jet lagged I'm sure, thank you for coming with us! And thank you Uncle Steve for finding the spot for us!

Knee Surgery

Here is Dan after his knee surgery. He is pretty much back to normal now but it was pretty painful right after and still gives him a little grief now and then. The doctor is hoping to have him back at the gym by the middle of August. We're grateful for surgeons who can help fix the old and make it like new again. Did I just say Dan was old?...he is turning 38 on the 26th of this month.

My little darling Dani loves the camera. Should we sign her with an agent? We tell her to smile for the camera and she just turns it on. Brock would rather do anything else than pose normal for a photo. He comes up with some of the silliest looks. Mia, I think is like her sister and eats the camera up.

Our Nauvoo Trip

Dan and I had a special opportunity to take last weekend to see Nauvoo. What a wonderful time we had. First things first...we forgot our camera so we will have to wait for picture copies from Jenny and Tom. I promise to post more photos then but in the meantime I wanted to take this time while it was so fresh on my mind to share some of the highlights of the trip. The first night we were there we saw the pageant. I really enjoyed the music in it. It even jerked a few tears. The next morning we made the trip to Carthage to see the jail. Gordon and Margret took us through on our own special family tour. We then went back to Nauvoo to do a session in the temple. After the temple we walked through some of the shops to pick out a few gifts for the kids. We then went to a show "Sunset on the Mississippi", where Gordan and Margret performed. The Missionaries do such a great job. It was a lot fun to watch. After the show we walked down the Trail of Hope and watched the sunset on the river. The next day we toured all the sites we could fit it. John Taylors home, The Scovil Bakery, The Gun shop, etc...we saw a lot of them but still need to return for another visit to see the rest. Maybe when the kids are older. The weekend was amazing! Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God. The spirit is beautiful there in Nauvoo and I'm so thankful I got a chance to take it all in. You can tell by the feeling you get as you walk through the sites that the members then were so strong and were blessed with strength to withstand the persecution. It makes me wonder it I have the strength they had. Probably not, but it gives me incentive to work hard and to stay strong in the gospel. I know it's true.

Sleeping Beauties

They are so cute when they are sleeping! When it gets hot in our house, Brock's favorite sleeping attire is just his undies. Mia has the most peaceful look about her. Dani doesn't have a picture of her sleeping because she doesn't believe in naps anymore. I'll have to catch her at bedtime. They are all go go go...but in an instance...mid sentence they crash and what a good time for mommy to blog.

Duck Pond Picnic

We are so lucky to have the Provo River Trail so close to our house. We walked the trail to the duck pond where we fend the ducks, saw an ugly muskrat and then ate our picnic lunch with friends. Dani helped plan the picnic menu. We ate wheat thins with easy cheese, strawberries, carrots and ranch dip, chocolate chip cookies and Capri Suns. It was a very warm day, just look at those cute red cheeks on Mia. We were glad to get home after our long hike and stay in the air conditioned house for naps.

Friday Field Trip

Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My! Here is our family field trip to the Bean Museum on the BYU campus. Dani’s favorite part was seeing the big big rattle snake. Brock's favorite animal was the crocodile. And mommy's favorite part was that none of them were alive! We were lucky to have daddy with us. He took time off from work to spend the day with us. Mia was a little sweetie the whole time and never made a peep. We sometimes forget we have a third child because she’s so quiet.

Stadium Of Fire

Happy Fourth of July! The Tueller family rocked out with Miley Cyrus at the Stadium Fire. We had a great time and the kids were so good. Even Mia loved all the noise...so much so she fell asleep towards the end of the fireworks show. We all showed our holiday spirit dressing in red white and blue except for Dani who had to show Miley she was a fan! I was glad I made the Hannah Montana shirt purchase at JC Penney for only $8.99 the day before. Dani would have been out of luck at the concert. 30 bucks for a t-shirt is a little steep for my budget. We also got to see the Blueman Group. They are incredible. Before we left for the concert the kids were so excited they didn't eat a lot of their dinner. So we snacked on snow cones, frozen lemonade, cotton candy, hot dogs and pretzels. Brock during Miley's part told us he was sooo hungry. So daddy took him to get a hot dog. He must of been hungry he ate all his dog plus most of Daddy's. My 3 year old eating 2 hot dogs. Does any one feel sorry for what my food budget might be when he gets to be a teenager? Then came the fireworks! They were so beautiful. After the big show we ventured back to the car...a very long walk and then a very long ride in all the traffic to get home. The kids were tired and so was mommy and daddy. A good day...we created a great family memory!

Dani turns 6 with a beach party bash...hawaiian style. We had everyone come! It was a big party and Dani got a lot of nice presents! Thank you to all who gave such sweet gifts. Barbie Jeepin'

How cute is this? The kids love to ride all over the backyard in Dani's Barbie Jeep. Santa brought her this special gift and she loves it! Even little Mia would stay in the jeep all day if I let her. She LOVES it too! Brock is a good little driver. It's nice that Dani will share drive time with her brother. Both of them have "off roading" experience now. When they're not riding in the the jeep they make sure it's parked in just the right spot.

Summer Sun and Bubblegum Ice cream

Mondays can be rough...right? Not today. Dani and Brock played and played all afternoon with friends Halle and Westin. After slathering up with 50 spf sunscreen and turning on the hose..summer had begun, with one sprinkler game after another. Soon after though the stomachs started to grumble, mom came to the rescue with cheese quesadillas and sliced strawberries. After lunch the fun continued...more sprinkler games and then came the bubblegum ice cream cones. What a day. I think they will sleep well tonight!

Our Graduate Of 2008

Yes it's official, Dani is a Kindergarten Graduate. The event came filled with pomp and circumstance and an adorable musical program. Her teacher, Miss Sorenson made costumes for the kids to wear during their performance of the Mexican Hat Dance. Dani tells us her skirt was "radical red". Don't worry we got the whole dance on video. She also had a special singing part in the the song "tingolao, come little donkey come". She performed beautifully! First Grade here we come!

Mia Emmeline Tueller

Mia makes three. The movie Princess Diaries inspired us to name her Mia. What a princess she is. She is a good baby and so easy to take care of. Still no owners manual came with her but for some reason I'm more confident in my mothering abilities the third time around. At 9 months she has spunk. I know one day when I'm not looking she is going to get up and run outside with her big sister and brother. She watches their every move. Dani and Brock are very good at bringing out her best belly laughs. You can't help but giggle.

Brock Wilcken Tueller

Child number 2, My little Brock Man. There is always a new adventure for me with him. I'm the oldest of five girls, what do I know about little boys? I know a little now. Brock never slows down. When he gets something in is head there is no changing his mind. We have melt down proof! He is so loving. He loves his sisters and everyday he tells me. "I love ya". If he could he would fill his room with dollar store glow sticks and break the world record for longest time on a swing. He is also very excited to start swimming lessons soon. He is our little fish!

It was six years ago last weekend that I became a mother. What a rewarding responsibility it is to be a mommy. I love Dani so much! I always say it's trial and error with her. She did not come with an owners manual. Dani is a happy busy bee. She is always creating something. One day it might be a gourmet meal of toast and jam. Another day it may be a soup concoction of leaves, grass and mommy's diet coke. Next, maybe a hat out of an old box. On most days her creativity makes me very tired. She will fall asleep mid sentence most nights and wakes up ready to go every morning. Her kindergarten year was a huge success. She reads like a pro and just like her mommy and Grandpa Wilcken is a math wiz. She loves to write, hey..maybe we have a novelist on our hands. She also is a very social little girl. We invited a few (20) of her closest friends to her birthday party last weekend. Good thing mommy made lots of treat sacks because 18 of the friends came. Boy was I tired after that party. Who out there can say they have entertained 18 along with a few extras... a 6 and under crowd for two hours?

I feel sometimes that the days are going too fast. Dani is now 6 years old, finished with kindergarten and getting smarter by the minute. Brock is my cute little dude who comes up with the funniest things to say way beyond his 3 years. Mia is already 9 months. I can see it in her eyes she wants to run and play with the big kids. The digital photos are piling up on the computer and the scrapbooks are sitting empty on the shelve in the office. So here is my answer...Blog addiction. I told Dan that if I did start a family blog I would be addicted...blog addicted. So here it goes.
